Film & Storytelling

Some experiences need more than facts.

Film became another way for me to communicate pain, caregiving, and patient experience—especially when an argument or research paper could explain a problem without making someone feel its human stakes.

Another mediumWhat changes when a patient becomes a person in a story rather than a statistic in a paper?

Why film

The films connect back to the same questions as my research and advocacy. When data identifies a problem and policy explains a barrier, storytelling can make the person affected by that barrier visible.
